Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
