"We will examine the Maga phenomenon and see how it can be achieved in Britain," Truss declared. "We will interview the key figures of the Trumpist political sphere."

Forging Alliances in the Maga Media Ecosystem

The former PM's foray to transplant the pro-Trump media model to Britain has aligned her more closely to controversial figures such as John Solomon.

He established the platform in the wake of criticism when allegations surfaced of pushing misleading narratives about Joe Biden's anticorruption effort in Ukraine, as well as controversial stories about one-time diplomat to that country.

His claims were echoed within the pro-Trump media, with Solomon featuring as a frequent visitor on the prominent Fox News show. Donald Trump boosted the journalist's work.

The journalist published the allegations regarding Ukraine in a series of columns for the publication The Hill, after having been re-labelled as a columnist when staffers raised concerns about his work.
