Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to address Ukrainian forces in the eastern front on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Circumstances in the Region

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that Russian forces had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by any party. The status is precarious, with reports indicating that invading units were establishing defenses and building up positions in various sectors.

Opposition armies are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and appear to be operating with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.
